"We respect our employees’ right to voice their concerns and peacefully protest without fear of retaliation, intimidation or harassment, and are aware a few employees took time to express concerns," Nikki Wheeler, an Amazon spokesperson told Motherboard. 

“We don’t have it in our system that we’ve got any of these poles,” Wheeler said. “We’ve got multiple entities looking into this, so far nobody has been able to say, ‘Yes, these are our poles.'”

Seattle City Light was responsible for inspecting 25 of the 26 poles, according to the map.

Amazon Media Relations spokesperson Nikki Wheeler calls the facility a delivery station and Amazon Hub Locker+.  She says, "This new delivery station will provide fast and efficient delivery for customers, with the added benefit of an additional free, secure, and convenient pickup and returns location."

By early afternoon, the company said the network was "operating under normal conditions."

"We continue to monitor for any residual issues stemming from this morning's incident," Nikki Wheeler, senior director of media relations, wrote in an email.

Some users complained on Twitter and Reddit about continued service interruptions into Wednesday afternoon.

As of Wednesday evening, Wheeler said they'd found the issue, which they believed to be "a configuration error."
